Team Building
In today’s market there are many activities designed for team building but here’s one that will provide the ultimate challenge. Sailing a tall ship will test your team in every sense, from their physical strength and resolve to their ability to delegate and communicate.
There is no need to invent an outlandish mission – to successfully sail the ship the team will need to work together and support each other. The team will enjoy a fantastic interactive event that will instil a high degree of trust and inter-reliability directly transferable to the work place.
Full-On Team Building Event
A fully interactive event is best suited for groups of up to 36 people staying on board. The team will learn to sail the ship and participate in all aspects of life on board. They will learn to navigate, steer the ship, climb the rigging, set the sails, prepare meals for all on board and eventually take control of the ship. And if your group requires specific training during the event Red Sky is pleased to introduce our training partners High Performance Development.
High Performance Development Ltd (HPD) is a dynamic training and development company that specialises in leadership and team development. Bespoke programmes are designed for individuals, teams and organisations based around experiences and lessons learnt from the business world, sporting arena and military operations where relevant action plans can be developed for implementing back in their clients' workplace. HPD take a holistic approach to training combining theoretical input, experiential learning and lifestyle management where theory is put into practice in an enjoyable and beneficial way.
Chill-Out Team Builing Event
If your idea of team building is something a bit more relaxed we can calm things down, open the bar earlier, and leave the hard work to the crew! Red Sky offers tall ships suitable for groups of 10 to 120 people and the day's activities can be pitched at the level that's just right for your group.
Accommodation
Many of the tall ships also offer cabin accommodation on board creating great venues to really bring your group together and share the experience. Whilst the cabins are small they generally have en-suite shower and toilet facilities for a maximum 36 people. And for larger groups Red Sky can help with accommodation ashore.
